2021 Calendar
In addition to the proposed dates below, we intend to hold regular training and preparation sessions throughout the year. Already many events have been cancelled or postponed and more changes may happen because of the Covid-19 situation. All matches and tournaments outside Scotland will require sanction from Scottish Hockey - that is being requested but until approval is given, these must be treated as provisional. Events within Scotland depend on the Covid regulations applicable at the time.

International Training
Pre selection, training is open to all players qualified and aiming to play for Scotland in the appropriate age group. Training sessions from September 2021 until selection takes place will again be open to all appropriately qualified players. All players must be members of Scottish Masters Hockey.

Selection was brought forward for various reasons including logistics and the need to allow the new coach to run the Peffermill weekend with the players selected for Nottingham and the Celtic Cup
Training sessions have been booked for the water based pitch at the High School of Glasgow on the last Sunday of the months of September (26th), October (31st) and November (28th). These will be open to all Scottish qualified players who will reach the age of 60 by the last day of 2022.

Regional Masters Sessions
All Scotttish Thistles Masters members and prospective members, male and female, aged 35 and over, invited. Demand will decide which sessions will be open to which groups based on age and sex.
